Bookmarks everywhere!

I've made some promotional bookmarks. I thought they'd be a nice gift to send with customer orders, and freebie giveaway for people who buy up big at the markets :)

It has my shop logo and tag line on the front, and logo + web address & email on the back.

This backing is also what I put on all the photo bookmarks I sell in my Etsy shop, so that people can find me easily for repeat orders. The front and back are a lab printed photograph that I have cut down, sandwiched together and laminated.

No more blondes!

This is a custom order, and I would like to take this opportunity to say ... NEVER AGAIN!!! No more ponytail Annies. The bulk of the hair and the narrow neck made it incredibly difficult to turn this doll out. I'll be sticking to fuzzy, curly or piggies for the hair from now on :D

Custom Annies!

This Annie is a custom request for our local guide unit. I have a feeling I'll sell a lot of these LOL. The logo has been painted freehand on the front and back of Annie's shirt, pretty close to the unit shirts ... several people have already asked me how I did it ... I reply "With my iddy biddy fingers." :D

More Annies!

I was really excited to find this fabric! It's one of my favourite scrapbooking papers, and to have an Annie decked out in these blue poppies ... bliss!
I made this Annie with my friend Shaz in mind ... she's flamingo themed, and Shaz is flamingo-mad! LOL I hope to have a little brooch to go with this one very soon.

I love this little Asian Annie, with a sweet charm on her collar, and striking black & red stripe stockings!

A little bit Cheeky

I was having a discussion with Karen O last week, and it turned to how crazy we get when we get parked in by people who have under developed parking skills. So, I designed a range of little cards that you can keep in your glovebox, or in your purse to tuck under windscreen wipers to make your point.

First & Second Sales on Etsy!

First thing this morning I logged on to see I'd sold my first item on Etsy! A set of fairy bookmarks. Very happy indeed. Then this afternoon I'm hanging out on the Promo forums, and someone says 'I'm buying ... tempt me' so I threw in a link to my bookmarks (since they're the cheapest thing in my shop), and she buys my Gimme Coffee Annie doll!!!! OMG ... of all the people who were begging her to buy from their store, she chose mine. So my Fairy images and my favourite Annie doll are off to the USA tomorrow ... how cool!!!!

Fantasy and Fairy Photo Portraits

Since my blog has been saturated in Annie dolls lately, I thought I'd put up one of my favourite Fairy Photos. This is my mother, as a toddler, and she loves the finished product! I spent half an hour lying on the ground doing a photo shoot with a snail in my garden, resulting in over 150 photos of one snail LOL ... but it was worth it to get the perfect shot!
