My new mantra on a Pendant

Apparently this is an old British war propaganda poster ... and it is now my new mantra ... Keep Calm and Carry On.

I turned it into a pendant on a domino game piece base. Very fun to make!

Gingerbread men submitted

The gingerbread man tag and money box have been submitted for publication, but were unfortunately rejected due to their simplicity. Still ... they're cute, and a great simple project for christmas, or the baker-at-heart.

Freshly painted just this morning! I used a paper mache luggage tag and some kitchen twine to top it off.

Clean or Dirty?

I'm sick of hearing it ... "Are these dishes clean or dirty?". So a few days ago I grabbed an old cd, covered it with some cardstock and painted it up to reveal the answer to that eternally annoying question.

Now ... when you unload the dishwasher you turn the magnet to 'dirty'. When you put it on the wash cycle you turn the magnet to 'clean'.
